Prince William and Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge have achieved “tremendous popularity” with the Earthshot Prize, a royal historian has told Express.co.uk
Royal historian Richard Fitzwilliams told Express.co.uk that William and Kate’s popularity is in part down to them championing issues they care about, such as with the Earthshot Prize.
The royal commentator and film critic said: “There is a tremendous popularity that he has with Catherine.
“The two are an ideal couple, and also they’ve taken on certain specific charities.
“William, I’m thinking of the Earthshot Prize for the environment, I’m thinking of mental health.
“Catherine too, her work for young children and so forth has been most impressive, her studies that really are significant.”
