Royal fan @BritishHarley2 noticed the two royals wore a very similar outfit, and took to Twitter to show the royal women side by side.
The royal fan tweeted: “I hadn’t noticed how similar the coats were – buttons, sleeves and cut.”
Wallis Simpson, the wife of King Edward VIII, who famously abdicated the throne in 1936 to marry the American divorcee, wore a very similar coat.
The Duchess of Windsor, as Wallis was also known, travelled to New York in 1962 to celebrate her silver wedding anniversary with the Duke of Windsor.
