The banker explained that he would ‘rather help people than  “fire” them’.

Following his decision not to return, Channel Nine enlisted British business magnate Lord Alan Sugar to front the series.

Businessman-turned-TV star Bouris previously explained that sticking to a rigid routine for the last 25 years has helped him focus on building his high-flying career.

Bouris also divulged how he exercises three times a week to stop the ‘itching’ in his head – and feels ‘low’ for days if he doesn’t.

Describing his strict daily routine, Mark explained that knowing what he will do every day gives his ‘mind a rest.’

‘I listen to the news, then I get up, have a coffee, go to the gym and then after the gym I go and have my breakfast at the same place every day where I sit in the same spot and eat the same food,’ he told The Daily Telegraph.

Bouris said that he wakes at 4.30am, goes to the gym and then has two piccolo coffees and scrambled eggs at his favourite cafe.

He also wears the same clothes – a tie that’s the same colour as his suit with a white shirt and black shoes – and has the same dinner every evening.

Bouris also explained how he sticks to a rigorous exercise routine to relieve the ‘exasperation and frustration’ that builds up during his working hours.

‘If I don’t [exercise] I get the itching in my head and that affects my sleep and then I don’t feel good the next day,’ he shared.
