The Duke of Sussex has talked often in recent weeks about his relationship with his estranged father. In a series of interviews, he has heavily criticised Prince Charles’ parenting skills. Harry told Oprah Winfrey in the Apple TV+ docuseries ‘The Me You Can’t See’ that his father had let him “suffer” as a child in the face of the media.
Prince Charles is said to be “hurt” and “disappointed” by the attacks from his younger son and wishes he would stop.
A source told US Weekly that he is “boiling with anger” and is finding it hard to “hold back”.
“He feels tortured by Harry with his constant digs,” the insider explained.
“He wishes he’d just let it drop.
“The general consensus within the royal family is to ignore Harry’s behaviour, to avoid fanning the flames, but Charles is finding it hard to hold back.
“He really wants to defend himself.”
