Mother-of-three Zara revealed the first glimpse of her tot, who arrived in March, at the Houghton Hall International Horse Trials on Saturday. The Queen’s granddaughter, 40, had little Lucas strapped to her chest as she enjoyed the outing.
Down-to-earth Zara cut a casual figure in jeans, a blue jacket and a baseball cap.
She completed her low-key look with a pair of sunglasses and smiled as she proudly carried her son close to her.
Lucas kept cosy in a blue puffer onesie with adorable animal ears.
The tot’s sweet face could be seen peering out from his hooded outfit.
It is the first time Lucas has been seen since his birth two months ago at the Tindalls’ Gloucestershire family home.
Royal fans reacted with delight to the sighting of the young royal, with many pointing out the resemblance to Mike.
Commenting on Twitter, one said: “Is it me or does he look like his daddy?”
Another wrote: “Very cute. I think the baby looks like Mike.”

“Arrived very quickly. Didn’t make it to hospital. On the bathroom floor.
“So yeah, it was running to the gym, get a mat, get into the bathroom, get the mat on the floor, towels down, brace, brace, brace.”
Mike added that Zara’s friend Dolly, who was also at the birth of their two daughters, was present.
He said: “She was there and recognised that we wouldn’t have got to hospital in time.
“Fortunately the midwife who was going to meet us at the hospital wasn’t that far away so she drove up just as we had assumed the position and the second midwife arrived just after the head had arrived.”
One of Mike’s co-presenters joked: “Is she up and about, back on a horse?”
He replied: “As every man will say, she was a warrior as always, they always are.”
Mike added: “The best thing about being at home, the best thing was, as soon he’s wrapped up, he’s skin on skin, straight downstairs. TV room. Golf on. This is what we’re doing.”
Zara and Mike’s son, who is 22nd in line to the throne, is a regular Master Tindall and is not an HRH.
His full name is Lucas Philip Tindall in a sweet nod to the late Duke of Edinburgh and Mike’s father, who is called Philip.
Zara and Mike are already parents to Mia, seven, and Lena, two.
