Musician Troye Sivan has lashed out at a new Channel Seven comedy series that featured comedians making fun of his appearance.
The My My My! singer Troye responded via Instagram Stories on Friday after being called ‘weak’ and ‘wussy’ on Australia Now and Then.

Not impressed: Musician Troye Sivan has lashed out at a new Channel Seven comedy series that featured comedians making fun of his appearance
Troye’s appearance was compared to that of pop star Miley Cyrus.
‘Yeah, I can’t say that I find him hot,’ SAS Australia star Merrick Watts said.
Comedian Denise Scott then called him ‘wussy’, and another lesser-known comedian described him as ‘weak’.
Troye wasn’t happy with the commentary, and later shared a defiant photo of himself alongside the text, ‘Wussy boys for life.’
The segment on Australia Now and Then that discussed Troye was about how perceptions of attractiveness have changed over time.
Troye is normally based in the U.S. but is now living under lockdown in Melbourne, hence why he was aware of the show.
The hitmaker is known for playing with gender norms, and previously appeared on the cover of OUT magazine.
He is believed to single following his break-up with model boyfriend Jacob Bixenman in July last year.
Industry sources confirmed to The Daily Telegraph they had quietly split after Troye flew from the U.S. to Perth.
He fled America to be with his family in Australia during Covid, while Jacob stayed behind in Los Angeles.
