On Thursday morning’s instalment of BBC Breakfast, hosts Charlie Stayt and Naga Munchetty were reading viewers the latest headlines. One of which mentioned which service stations across the UK have been ranked highest and lowest. However, during their chat Naga decided to overshare, according to Charlie, her toilet habits with her co-host.

At the start of BBC Breakfast, both Naga and Charlie were informing viewers what headlines will be in the papers this morning.

Although many were dominated by Prime Minister Liz Truss and Suella Braverman’s resignation, there were also a few light-hearted pieces thrown in.

One of which delved into the topic of service stations across the UK and how they’ve been ranked, specifically on their toilet satisfaction.

Introducing the segment, Charlie asked: “Who doesn’t want to know about the best and worst service stations in the UK?”

His co-host interjected by adding that if you’re a person who travels a lot it’s crucial information to know.

Charlie added: “Yeah, it’s important information! It turns out that the best one is the services on the M6 in Rugby which has a 100 percent approval rating.

“The worst is Hartshead Moor East on the M62. Now, what comes through in this survey, you won’t be surprised to hear, is there is a massive focus on toilets.”

Agreeing with the point, Naga excitedly replied: “Yes! Absolutely!”

Naga didn’t let the issue drop, however, adding: “Because I do travel a fair amount now, I will always go before I need to, so that I do have the option, it’s planning.”

Charlie did his best to halt the conversation, chipping in: “This is too much information territory!”

However, Naga remained adamant that it wasn’t oversharing and all boiled down to planning.

Swiftly diverting the conversation, she asked: “Did they look at food?”
