Too Hot To Handle EXCLUSIVE: Cam and Emily remain coy on their romance

They found love with each other in Too Hot To Handle’s second season.

But Cam Holmes, 24, and Emily Miller, 27, played coy on whether they were still an item in an interview with MailOnline, despite him confessing he loved her during the Netflix show’s finale.

When asked about how their relationship was going the pair remained evasive, with Cam saying: ‘Um, as much as I [would] love to say, we don’t want to say anything.

‘We don’t want to spoil anything for viewers. You’ll have to wait and see.’ 

Emily agreed with Cam, as she said: ‘Yea, we want everyone to watch the show, it’s going to be good. It’s going to be good.’

The Welsh personal trainer added that fans of the show would have to ‘wait to find out’ if they were still together as he claimed it was ‘out of my hands’. 

Despite not giving any more away about their romance, Emily said cheerily that it was ‘worth the wait’.

The pair also discussed the benefit of being on a show like Too Hot To Handle, where sexy singles have to avoid sexual contact with each other for four weeks in order to win a $100,000 prize.

Looking back at their time at the retreat, Cam said: ‘I quickly realised what the show was and thought right I’m going to commit to the show. 

‘I know it’s about helping us out, learning, and I thought I’m here I might as well sort out these commitment issues out while I’m here. I switched onto it very quickly.

‘Therapy is meant to be hard, I haven’t done it [before] so I thought take advantage!’

The pair also discussed the lessons they learned on the show, and whether they found having an emotional connection was more important to them.

Emily said: ‘Yea, definitely what Lana [the AI keeping watch of the contestants during the show] has taught me I’ve definitely applied to my life now.’

While Cam added: ‘Before the show, for me, it was just sex and nothing really mattered but since the villa I just realised there’s a lot more to it than just sex. 

‘I don’t want to sound cheesy, but there are a lot of emotions involved, there’s a lot of nicer things than just sex so it wasn’t just that.’

Emily and Cam previously joked over how they struggled to keep their hands off each other despite the prize fund dropping every time they broke the rules and got amorous.

Contestants are informed when they arrive that there will be ‘no kissing, no heavy petting and no sex’ during their time on the show so they can form more ’emotional’ connections instead.

But, despite the warning, the pair found it difficult to avoid, and when asked the model said: ‘Look at him, would you be concerned?’

With Cam adding in a matter-of-fact tone: ‘I wasn’t really concerned, for me I’m used to just doing what I want really.

‘I thought I found [Emily] very attractive so I thought I’ll kind of just do what I want. I wanted to secure it down, that’s how I looked at it so I wasn’t too bothered.’

And Emily concurred as she went on: ‘Same for me, I’ve never been one for the rules and I certainly wasn’t going to let Lana get in my way!’
