This Morning's Phillip Schofield jokes he's 'knobless' as Holly Willoughby uses a 'psychic banana'

Tonight, England fight for a place in the Euros 2020 final. 

And, during Wednesday’s instalment of This Morning, Holly Willoughby, 40, used a ‘psychic banana’ to predict that England will beat Denmark in tonight’s semi-final at Wembley.

Elsewhere in the show, Phillip Schofield, 59, joked that he is ‘knobless’ during an hilarious game of Guess The Gadget.

Holly, Phillip and regular guest Gyles Brandeth were discussing their predictions for tonight’s big football game.   

Holly asserted: ‘The only person who really, really knows is this guy. The psychic banana.

‘I’m afraid the banana will be harmed during this process,’ she added. 

Explaining herself, she said: ‘So if you haven’t seen the psychic banana before: We ask it a yes or no question and then we cut the end off.

It’s coming home! So we are saying: ‘Will England win tonight… Yes or no?’ Are you ready?’ masked Holly, before announcing: ‘It’s a big fat yes!’ and squealing: ‘Yessss! It’s coming home!’

As a drumroll could be heard, Phil added: ‘It’s seldom ever wrong!’. 

‘It’s a big fat yes!’ announced Holly before squealing: ‘Yessss! It’s coming home!’ as a delighted Phil yelled: ‘The psychic banana says yes!’ 

Later, Gyles Brandeth jokingly claimed that the banana was speaking to him and had revealed that the football score would be 2-0 to England.

Later in the show, while playing Guess The Gadget, Phillip joked: ‘I’m knobless’ as he looked at the contraption in front of him.

Segment host Steve Wilson added: ‘Your knob’s fallen off I think!’ to which Phil responded: ‘Oh no, that’s all I need!’

Phil continued by guessing: ‘It’s for holding something. Oh it’s filing? Filing vegetables!’

Holly asked: ‘Do you put something in there? Remote controls?’

Steve announced: ‘It’s remote controls, you’re right!’ to which Holly celebrated her win in football style by enthusing: ‘It’s coming home!’

Joker: Later on, while playing Guess The Gadget, Phillip joked: ‘I’m knobless’ as he looked at the contraption in front of him while Steve Wilson added: ‘Your knob’s fallen off I think!’
