Earlier this month, the sisters uploaded a lengthy ‘open letter’ on Instagram Stories, accusing the show’s producers of using ‘manipulative tactics’ and unfair editing.
‘Dear Celebrity Apprentice. This open letter is not for the public, the public is going to form an opinion based off what you put in front of them. This is for the crew and production involved in the show that knows the truth,’ the letter began.
‘You signed us up for your show under the guise of charity and heart. Our genuine intentions and passion reduced to an edit,’ it continued.

The musicians also accused the editors of portraying them as being pushy, and even using their mother’s illness ‘for sympathy’.
‘It was you who constantly asked us to reiterate our charity and why we were there… and you turn around and weaponise our words and our mummy’s name – turning them into a knife used to stab us in the heart. Shame on you,’ they raged.
Lisa and Jessica’s mother, Colleen, has Lewy body dementia and a rare neurological condition called progressive supranuclear palsy.
The twins, who act as carers for their mother, joined Celebrity Apprentice to raise money for The Brain Foundation, as well as to raise awareness of neurological illness.
