The curls are back! Nicole Kidman, 54, swaps her straight locks for the hairstyle that made her famous in the early ’80s in a series of TV interviews
Nicole Kidman first burst onto the scene back in the early eighties with her vibrant red curls and in films including 1983’s BMX Bandits.
And now, the Hollywood star has well and truly returned to her roots, rocking her natural curls in a series of recent interviews.
This week, the 54-year-old Australian star, who is often seen gracing the red carpet with straight hair, showed off her stunning natural hair when she appeared on The Project and Good Morning America.

Nicole is also rocking a colour that’s similar to her natural red hair, opting for a strawberry blonde colour.
The stunner, who is married to rocker Keith Urban, has previously spoken about her natural curly hair and said she wishes she never touched her curls in her younger years or straightened them.
‘I wish I had my curls back,’ Nicole said.

She added: ‘I tortured them to death. I always say, ”Don’t ruin the ringlets!”
On The Project on Wednesday meanwhile, Nicole spoke about how she stayed in character the whole time while filming Nine Perfect Strangers.
In the show, she appears as the wellness guru Masha Dmitrichenko.
Luckily, her husband Keith didn’t have any problems being married to Masha.
Nicole said on The Project that Keith took a fancy to the blonde character.

‘My kids would hear me talking in the accent all the time, to the point that they didn’t even notice it,’ she explained to host Carrie Bickmore.
‘Keith was really into Masha so that was good,’ she added with a cheeky smile.
Carrie then brought up how Nicole had posted a racy image of Keith on Instagram licking her neck to celebrate their fifteenth wedding anniversary.

‘I love the pic you posted of him licking your neck,’ Carrie gushed.
‘Is that while you were in character or is that what you’re normally like, you saucy things!’
‘That’s um, yeah that’s us,’ Nicole responded. ‘You’ve gotta have spice. Sugar and spice, right? Sugar and spice is the key to fifteen years.’
