The movie boasts an a-list cast, and the stars were out in force to party following the New York Film Festival premiere of The Lost Daughter on Wednesday night.
Leading lady Olivia Colman reunited with her co-star from The Crown, Josh O’Connor at Altro Paradiso in NYC.
The onscreen mother and son from the Netflix hit, cosied up for the cameras as they partied with an all-star crowd. Josh played Prince Charles in Netflix hit The Crown alongside Olivia as his mother Queen Elizabeth II.

Josh, 31, put his arm around Olivia, 47, as they shard some drinks at the plush NY venue.
Olivia was still looking glam in her red carpet ensemble, of a bold colour block dress and glittering diamonds.
Josh also caught up with his pal Paul Mescal, who stars alongside Olivia in The Lost Daughter.
The movie’s writer and director Maggie Gyllenhaal was also celebrating the premiere, alongside her actor brother Jake.

The Lost Daughter is a psychological drama written and directed by Gyllenhaal, and based on the novel of the same name by Elena Ferrante.
The anticipated movie had its world premiere at the 78th Venice International Film Festival on September 3, where Gyllenhaal won the Golden Osella Award for Best Screenplay.

It tells the story of Colman, as Leda, a college professor, who while on a summer holiday, finds herself becoming obsessed with another woman (Johnson) and her young daughter, prompting memories of her own early motherhood to come back and unravel her.
The film will drop on Netflix on New Year’s Eve after a two-week limited release in US movie theaters.
For her big night, Olivia slipped into a flowing robe-like frock that featured color-blocking in hot pink, dark brown and a deep shade of orange.

The drapery of the gown gave it a regal air befitting an actress who has racked up a slew of awards playing English queens.
Olivia, who won an Oscar as Queen Anne and two Emmys as Elizabeth II, accentuated her unmistakable gamine features with makeup.
She wore her hair in an elegant coiff and added a touch of dazzle to her ensemble with a pair of glittering earrings.
