    With three massive rooms to deliver, the contestants on The Block are looking nervously at their balance sheets and wondering if they can even finish their builds.

    But host Scott Cam looks set to save the day, with a glass-blowing challenge on Wednesday’s episode providing the teams with an opportunity to win a much-needed cash injection. 

    ‘I step in to offer some relief,’ he says in a trailer, adding: ‘And for some of our teams, it’s a must-win.’

    Tuesday’s episode saw Kirsty reach breaking point mid fears she and husband Jesse won’t be able to finish their build at Bronte Court.

    The country music star, 34, burst into tears as it dawned on her just how over budget they were.

    After blowing $86,000 on their expansive backyard and being audited, she wept when she realised they had no money left to complete their front yard.

    ‘I’m a little bit stressed because these are the bills we have to pay from last week,’ she said.

    The high school sweethearts had spent $22,500 on landscaping alone, and also built a concrete pool and dining pavilion in the yard. 

    What’s more, it came with a pizza oven, chicken coop and barbecue.

    ‘Next week, we’re going to be in minus… we’re going to go into front-yard week with zero dollars, depending on what Scotty [Cam] gives us,’ she added tearfully.

    ‘Don’t get upset, darling. Our house is three times the size of everyone else’s,’ videographer Jesse said as he tried to console his wife. 

    Kirsty admitted the idea of not being able to finish their build was ‘heartbreaking’.

    ‘There’s going to be a lot of sleepless nights I think,’ she added. 

    ‘We have this amazing house… to think in the final weeks we can’t do it justice. It’s heartbreaking. The idea of not finishing is devastating, it’s just not an option for us.’ 

    The Block continues Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel Nine
