The Block 2021: Inside the stunning homes of Bronte Court ahead of auction day

    Auction day is looming on The Block, as season 17 draws to a close.

    And the teams worked hard to complete renovations on five dated houses in just 12 weeks at Bronte Court, in the affluent Melbourne suburb of Hampton, with some stunning results. 

    The homes in the cul-de-sac have various price guides ranging anywhere from $2.6million to a whopping $3.8million. Daily Mail Australia takes a look inside the luxury properties ahead of the finale of the hit show. So who do you think will win?

    The Block newcomers Tanya and Vito Guccione have been embroiled in scandal since the early weeks of the build.

    Despite being closely involved with the drama, the couple have managed to pull off creating a chic and stylish home that gives a nod the past with retro details.

    Among them is the sunken lounge upon entry alongside a dual-sided gas fireplace with a tiled feature wall.

    Buyer’s agent Nicole Jacobs told realestate.com.au she thinks Kirsty Lee Akers and Jesse Anderson will come out on top on auction day.

    ‘Based on land and opportunity for a family home you would have to think Kirsty and Jesse have a good chance of taking it out,’ Ms Jacobs said.

    This comes after reports security has been ramped up for The Block finale because producers fear ‘a massive tantrum’ on auction day. 

    According to New Idea, they are concerned about crazed fans and warring contestants.

    ‘Emotions are high. This is the first time the contestants are coming back face to face after so much has been said and done,’ a source said.

    ‘There are some very open wounds… expect tears and for one couple, no doubt a massive tantrum.’  

    Meanwhile, several couples are reportedly threatening to boycott the finale over their feuds with producers and judges.

    As reported by Woman’s Day, Tanya and Vito Guccione are doing everything they can to get out of attending auction day.

    The Block finale airs Sunday at 7pm on Channel Nine
