Sunrise hosts are left red-faced after Cash Cow winner uses a VERY rude word live on-air after winning the $50,000 prize
It’s supposed to be Channel Seven’s family-friendly breakfast program.
But Sunrise took a rude turn on Monday during the program’s famous Cash Cow giveaway segment after the winner uttered an expletive live on-air.
Hosts Natalie Barr and David ‘Kochie’ Koch were left red-faced after the winner – a woman named Angela – responded to the news she’d won $50,000 by shouting the word ‘bulls**t’ over the phone.
The outrageous gaffe came after Natalie asked Angela what she planned to do with her prize money.
‘Angela, when people answer and they say, ‘I don’t know [what I’ll do with the money]’, do you always say, ‘Oh, come on,’?’ Natalie asked.
After a brief pause, Angela suddenly exclaimed; ‘Bulls**t!’
The Sunrise crew exploded in embarrassed laughter, with sports reporter Mark Beretta and presenter Edwina Bartholomew doubling over in disbelief.
‘Angela’s my favourite winner ever!’ Edwina chortled, clapping her hands with glee.
‘OK, whatever!’ Natalie Barr laughed.
It’s not the first time Channel Seven has suffered a live TV mishap involving swear words.
In October last year, The Morning Show aired a segment about surfer Layne Beachley’s home to promote an upcoming episode of Better Homes and Gardens.

During the house tour, Layne’s motivational white board, which was filled with swear words, was shown on screen for about four seconds.
The board contained the word ‘F**KED’ in capital letters, along with the word ‘s**t’ and two iterations of ‘bulls**t’.
