A Sunrise crew member has tested positive for Covid overnight, putting the entire breakfast at risk, including pregnant newsreader Edwina Bartholomew.

The staff member returned a positive test on Thursday after working at the Channel Seven Studios in Martin Place for three consecutive days prior.

Natalie Barr announced the new on Friday morning, revealing that newsreader Edwina was a ‘close contact’.
