Countryfile star Helen Skelton has been announced as the bookies’ favourite to win this year’s competition.

According to Ladbrokes, Kym Marsh’s odds were slammed after Friday’s launch show from 16/1 to just 15/2, while Tyler West is now just a 13/2 shot, having been as big as 10/1 prior to the premiere.

Helen has now been placed ahead of Fleur East in the betting at odds of 7/2, while Kaye Adams remains the rank outsider by some distance.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Punters already believe they’ve seen enough from Kym Marsh to know she’ll be there or thereabout come the end of the series, while Tyler couldn’t have asked for a better partner that Dianne Buswell as far as his own Glitterball Trophy chances are concerned.”

The latest Ladbrokes betting sees Fleur East following Helen at 4/1, with Emmerdale’s Will Mellor third, with odds of 6/1.

Tyler West has gone from 10/1 to 13/2, while Kym’s odds were slashed from 16/1 to 15/2.

Paralympian Elli Simmonds stands at 8/1, while singer Matt Goss has been placed at 10/1.

Actor and singer Molly Rainford stands at the centre of the list with 16/1, with both EastEnders star James Bye and TV host Richie Anderson at 18/1.

Comedian and actor Jayde Adams has been placed at 22/1, The Great Pottery Throw Down star Ellie Taylor at 28/1 and Hamza Yassin at 28/1.

Making up the bottom of the list is ex football star Tony Adams at 40/1 and Loose Women panellist Kaye Adams, with 66/1.
