Sting sported leather shoes and a V-neck top with a silk scarf wrapped around his neck.

Meanwhile his wife rocked a delicate bracelet and necklace over her high-neck one-piece.

Her ash blonde locks were brushed back into a chic updo and she wore a light dusting of make-up for the music performance. The couple raised out of their seats to clap for Andrea.

The Venice Film Festival begun on Wednesday and is running until 11 September.

The event is the world’s oldest film festival. It is known as one of the ‘Big Three’ film festivals, alongside the Berlin International Film Festival and the Cannes Film Festival.

The international movie competition is directed by Alberto Barbera and organised by La Biennale Di Venezia.

Trudie and Sting recently concluded their lavish trip on the Amalfi Coast where they were spotted on a luxury boat ride.

The couple have been married for 29 years and have four children together. They share Jake, 36, Giacomo, 25, Mickey, 37, and Eliot Sumner, 31.

Sting is also the father to Fuchsia, 39, and Joe Sumner, 44, from his previous relationship with Frances Tomelty.

They spend a lot of time in Italy and were seen enjoying an evening in their Tuscan countryside vineyard in early June.

Trudie was treated to music from her husband who played the acoustic guitar, while she sipped red wine with Oenologist Riccardo Cotarella.

In May, Sting received a portrait painted by a late fan, after his daughter Mickey fulfilled the enthusiast’s dying wish by getting the artwork to the rocker.

Photoblog Humans Of New York detailed the story of a woman who had made it her ‘assignment’ to reach out to the singer after her stepdad – who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1998 – made the request in his final days.

And the Instagram account confirmed that Sting had received the stunning artwork and shared a snap of the rocker posing alongside the portrait while promoting a fundraiser Mickey had set up to help those with the disease.
