Sofia Vergara stuns in clinging turquoise dress as she enjoys a sunny Memorial Day

Sofia Vergara looked picture perfect in a clinging turquoise dress as she enjoyed a sunny Memorial Day with family and friends. 

The Modern Family star, 48, showcased her enviable figure in a series of snaps she posted on Instagram on Monday. 

She commanded attention in the bright coloured dress as she posed for pictures with her dog Bubbles and wished her 21.7million followers a ‘Happy Memorial Day Weekend’.

Sofia was joined by her smouldering husband Joe Manganiello, 44, son Manolo, 29, and some friends to commemorate Memorial Day in their sprawling back yard. 

Memorial Day honors those who have fallen during military action in the United States.

The actress wore a chunky turquoise necklace to match the dress and styled her long tresses straight and down the centre. 

Making the most of the sunshine, Sofia took the opportunity to get a sultry snap of herself sipping some wine beside the pool.

Captioning the picture, she wrote: ‘So ready for my favorite time of the year! Ready for sun dresses, sunblock and [cocktail emoji].’

As always, she showcased her natural beauty, wearing a pared-down makeup look with a light pink lipstick to complete it. 

Sofia later took to her Stories to share a clip of herself dancing barefoot with a drink her hand. 

Joe, who opted for a casual shorts and T-shirt look, was pictured cooking up a storm on the barbecue before the couple and their guests tucked into the spread they had put on, pausing to take a group photograph.

Joe and Sofia have been married since 2015, tying the knot at the Palm Beach resort The Breakers which is an historic hot spot for high society parties.

The sitcom diva has a son named Manolo, 29, by her first husband Joe Gonzalez who had been her high school sweetheart in her native Colombia.

Modern Family made stars out of its cast particularly Sofia whom Forbes ranked as the world’s highest-paid TV actress for several years during its run.

Last year Sofia made so much money on her various projects that Forbes reported she was the world’s highest paid actress in any medium.

All 11 seasons of Modern Family became available simultaneously on both Hulu and Peacock beginning this February 3 less than a year after airing its finale. 

Modern Family enjoyed its long 250-episode broadcast run on ABC which has the same parent company as Hulu – Disney. 

Meanwhile Peacock is the streaming arm of NBCUniversal which of course own’s one of ABC’s main broadcast rivals ABC. 

Disney and NBCUniversal have struck a multiple-year deal that has allowed for both company’s streamers to share the program, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
