Snoop Dogg says his mother Beverly Tate is 'still fighting' amid her hospitalization

Snoop Dogg on Sunday gave fans an update on his mother Beverly Tate, who remains hospitalized amid a health battle.

‘Happy Sunday me and my brothers went to [see] mama today and she opened up her eyes to [see] us and let us know she still fighting,’ the rapper, 49, captioned the post. ‘God is good … thanks for all the prayers one day at a time.’

In an accompanying shot, the musical artist was seen leaning over her mother in a hospital bed while touching her head.

The Long Beach, California native was surrounded by two loved ones in the shot.

‘You got to treat yourself like fine wine,’ he said. ‘They say fine wine, it gets better over time. You got to look at it as you get older, you get wiser, and how to treat yourself, treat others.

‘You learn what life is about. So every precious day you here to actually live another day, you should make the most of it. That’s what I focus on the most – trying to be the best version of me every day.’
