‘I have been able to spend so much quality time with Pat and our dog Banksy which has been really nice,’ she added.

Known for her hits New Boy, Bounce and Sweet Talk, the star has already had to cancel her nuptials twice last year due to the pandemic.

She told Perth Now he had all but given up on plans for a wedding in 2021, as millions of Aussies head into lockdown amid a surge in Delta variant cases.

Samantha said the couple were going to start planning a few months ago’ with a view to getting married ‘really fast’.

But then Perth, where her side of the family lives, entered a snap lockdown in April and she has now ‘completely put on hold’ plans to wed amid the Delta strain crisis.

‘I was like, ‘You know what? Let’s not bother.’ I can’t not have my family at my wedding. We are going to put it on hold to see what is going on with Covid,’ she said.

‘It’s not worth it. First of all it’s extremely expensive and it’s so heartbreaking to have to put it on hold all the time.

‘I don’t want to also get all excited and, you know, have to cancel it, so right now it’s just on hold until the world gets itself together, I guess.’

Samantha announced her engagement to Pat in January 2019, after they reportedly started dating around mid-2017.
