Sinead O’Connor has revealed she was a kissogram from the age of 16-years-old, and her favourite costume was ‘the naughty nun’.
The singer, 54, made the shock admission during an appearance on Tuesday’s edition of Good Morning Britain, but claimed she was ‘terrible’ at the role because she was too shy.
A kissogram is a person who attends parties in costume and kisses people, and looking back she admitted: ‘I was a terrible kissogram because I was very shy.
‘My favourite was the naughty nun!’ Sinead O’Connor revealed on Tuesday’s GMB that she was a kissogram aged 16 but admitted she was ‘terrible’ at it because she was ‘shy’
‘In Ireland in those days, you had jobs all the time, from the age of 11. I had a job in a pizza place but I was also a kissogram.
‘My favourite was the naughty nun. It was a full length nun’s outfit, at the back it was all cut away.’
Explaining her job, Sinead went on: ‘You’d have to read a terrible poem in a French accent and then put a pair of knickers on the fella’s head.

‘There’s a story in the book about driving round a graveyard looking for my mother’s grave in the kissogram car, the company was called hot lips, the man had a red car and on top is a huge pair of red lips and we’re driving round.
‘He’s in a gorilla outfit and I’m in a French maid outfit. There’s a good picture of the French maid’s outfit in the book. I was saying they should have put it on the cover.’
It comes after she branded Prince a ‘violent abuser of women’ and claimed he ‘terrorised’ and physically assaulted her when she visited his Hollywood mansion in the 1990s.

Sinead made the bombshell allegation in her forthcoming memoir, titled Rememberings, which was previewed in a New York Times profile on Tuesday – four years after Prince’s death from a drug overdose.
The Irish singer said Prince had invited her to his home after her 1991 cover of his song Nothing Compares 2 U became an international hit – and she ended up fleeing in the middle of the night.
‘She writes that Prince summoned her to his macabre Hollywood mansion, chastised her for swearing in interviews, harangued his butler to serve her soup though she repeatedly refused it, and sweetly suggested a pillow fight, only to thump her with something hard he’d slipped into his pillowcase,’ the Times reported.

‘When she escaped on foot in the middle of the night, she writes, he stalked her with his car, leapt out and chased her around the highway.’
In her own words, O’Connor wrote: ‘You’ve got to be crazy to be a musician.
‘But there’s a difference between being crazy and being a violent abuser of women.’
Despite the incident she indicated that she does not regret having adopted Nothing Compares 2 U from the rock star, saying: ‘As far as I’m concerned. it’s my song.’

Prince had recorded his rendition of the song he wrote in 1984 but did not release it – instead passing it along to The Family, the jazz-funk band he put formed.
Sinead released her cover seven years later and it shot to the top of the charts, earning her a Grammy nomination for Record of the Year.
Prince’s original recording was finally released in 2018 on the second anniversary of his death aged 57.
