Serena Williams rocked a unique look to celebrate the ‘In America: A Lexicon of Fashion’ theme at the 2021 Met Gala.
The 39-year-old athlete hit the red carpet in a rather unique ensemble, alongside her husband, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian.
She also took to her Instagram story to share some humorous videos with her four-year-old daughter Olympia, who joked that her mother looked like a ‘monster.’

Serena stepped out in a full Gucci ensemble, including a silver form-fitting body suit with red stars emblazoned on it.
She also donned a luxurious ombre faux fur cape, which blended colors from white, pink, red to black.
The tennis icon completed her look with a silver handbag and silver platform heels for the annual star-studded bash.

He also publicly debuted his much shorter haircut, after growing his hair out during the COVID-19 pandemic, falling below his shoulders before the cut.

She was wearing a clear face mask when Olympia chimed in and said, ‘You look like a monster,’ as Serena said, ‘Do you think that’s a nice thing to say?’ to which Olympia answered, ‘No.’
