The Three Lions secured a spot in the Euro 2020 final with the dramatic 2-1 win at Wembley. England have reached their first final at a major tournament since the 1966 World Cup, also at Wembley Stadium.
The atmosphere was electric as 60,000 football fans went wild, realising a 55-year dream had become reality.
“Gareth Southgate and @England, we herald you,” the Duchess of York tweeted.
“Thank you Denmark for showing wonderful sportsmanship and humility. @ChrisEriksen8, we wish you a speedy recovery…” Ms Ferguson continued.
Eriksen, 29, suffered a cardiac arrest during Denmark’s opening game against Finland.

The Prime Minister also shared his support.

Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab tweeted: “Huge credit to the Danish team.
“What guts and determination – true to form.
“Looking forward to the final on Sunday – come on – and a beer on our Danish friends.”
