Salford primary school lockdown: 'Police incident' nearby triggers emergency shutdown

    St Sebastian’s RC Primary School in Charlestown, Salford has sent a text message to parents saying the school is in a “precautionary lockdown.”

    The text, which has been seen by the Manchester Evening News, read: “Due to an incident in the adjacent building school is currently in lockdown as a precaution.

    “All are safe. Please do not ring school. We will advise further.”
