The Metropolitan police have come under fire from the friends and neighbours of murdered primary school teacher Sabina Nessa amid reports the police plan to withdraw extra patrols only days after the 28-year-old was killed. Sabina was attacked only minutes from her home in Kidbrooke in southeast London on Friday evening and her body was discovered in a local park the following day.
Kidbrooke resident Karen Griffiths told ITV News: “I know they can’t really do much.
“But I think when they say they are going to have a police presence for the next four or five days, well why not continue to have that.
“Because we have not really seen police.”
“My family we have lived in the area for 44 years and we have never had anything like this happen,” added another, Rosie Collins.
