Prince Harry has lifted the lid on what life as a senior member of the Royal Family has been for him in a series of interviews and TV appearances over the past few months. And, given his new status as a royal entrepreneur who has struck deals in the world of entertainment and the public’s desire to know more, one royal commentator believes he is bound to keep opening up about life at the palace, his struggles and the relationship with his family.
During the latest episode of the podcast Royally Us, hosts Molly Mulshine and Christina Garibaldi discussed whether there was room for reconciliation between the Sussexes and the Royal Family in the wake of the revelations and claims recently made by Prince Harry and Meghan.
Ms Mulshine said: “What’s next? What other truth bombshells is he going to drop on us?
“Because, you know, they have this podcast, he has this big deal with Netflix, so this is going to be going on for a while, so I don’t know.
“There’s definitely going to be a lot of things coming out and people want to hear him speak so I think he’s going to give the public what they want so he’s going to keep talking.”
In September last year, Meghan and Harry revealed they signed a multi-year contract with Netflix, for which they are set to produce TV shows, docu-series and children programming.
The first series they announced was Heart of Invictus, which will focus on athletes set to take part in next year’s Invictus Games.
In 2020, the Sussexes also struck a deal with Spotify, for which they are to produce and host a podcast.
Ms Garibaldi replied: “Yeah, he’s going to run out at some point!

“He needs to put some time between updates.
“We’ve gone through when you were 12, we’ve gone through the times before that, we’ve gone from 28 to 32… you’re going to run out!”
Joking, Ms Mulshine replied: “For our sake, please keep talking, ’cause it gives us something to talk about, but I don’t know how the family’s going to feel about that.”
Prince Harry spoke publicly about his family and why he left the Firm for the first time since his royal exit when he appeared on an episode of the Late Late Show with James Corden in February.

But he truly opened up about his and Meghan’s struggles, their mental health and the scenes in the run-up to Megxit during the Sussexes’ landmark interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Two months later, in mid-May, he appeared on the Armchair Expert podcast, where he spoke mainly about his mental health and military career – but also touched upon his upbringing, in what seemed to be a slight at Prince Charles’s parenting.
Finally, he accused the Royal Family of “total neglect” and ignoring his request for help during the docu-series he created with Oprah for Apple TV+.
During the series, released last month, he also spoke about his approach to mental health, how the death of Princess Diana had a lasting impact on him and confessed he turned to drink and drugs to numb the pain of his loss.
