Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Netflix series contradicts parts of the Duke’s memoir, it has been claimed. Filmmakers have reportedly been left confused that some claims made in Harry’s book are at odds with what the couple have said on camera for their show for the streaming giant.
Harry and Meghan also reportedly wanted to make 11th-hour changes to the docuseries to edit out some comments they have made about the royals.
A senior Netflix source told Page Six: “A lot in the show contradicted what Harry has written, so that was an issue. Then Harry and Meghan made significant requests [to filmmakers] to walk back content they themselves have provided, for their own project.”
It comes amid intense speculation over the release date of the book and series.
Representatives for the Sussexes have been contacted for comment.
