Pattinson will step into the superhero realm with The Batman, directed by Matt Reeves, who co-wrote the script with Mattson Tomlin (Project Power).

He stars alongside Colin Farrell as The Penguin, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Paul Dano as The Riddler, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon and John Turturro as Carmine Falcone.

The producing deal could very well segue into Pattinson coming aboard to both star in and produce potential sequels to The Batman, though that has yet to be confirmed.
