The Royal Collection Trust has issued a range of China and Christmas decorations, with the design inspired by the Robe of State worn by The Queen for her Coronation in 1953. Featuring a deep purple background and covered in golden decorations, the chinaware is being hand made in Stoke-on-Trent using techniques going back to the 18th century.
The profits raised from the sale of this official range of commemorative items goes to the Royal Collection Trust.
The Queen is also releasing her official book for her Platinum Jubilee, The Queen: 70 Glorious Years, which includes over 77 images chosen to represent The Queen’s reign.
The Queen will mark the 70th anniversary of her reign on February 6, 2022, this will be kept private and the main celebrations for the Platinum Jubilee will take place between June 2 and June 5, 2022.
With a whopping £15million budget, ministers and culture chiefs have revealed a spectacular line-up for the “Platinum Pageant” as part of a four-day public holiday.

The extended bank holiday for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee next year will kick off with the Trooping the Colour parade.
Platinum Jubilee beacons will also be lit throughout the UK, as well as in the capital city of every Commonwealth country.
A service will be held for the Queen at St Paul’s Cathedral, while she will also attend the Epsom Derby.
The BBC will host a special live concert from Buckingham Palace, which is set to feature some of the “world’s biggest entertainment stars”.
