Prince William sadly arrived after his grandmother died at 5pm, with the Earl and Countess of Wessex in tow.
They flew via RAF Northholt in Ruislip, arriving in Aberdeen at 3.50pm, while the Duke of Sussex arrived several hours later at 8pm.
The only royals present for the Queen’s death were the now King Charles III, the Queen Consort and Anne, the Princess Royal.
The trio was already in attendance as they were undertaking official royal duties in Scotland.
