Princess Beatrice, 32, is not a working royal but holds several honorary patronages including one with Forget Me Not children’s hospice. The pregnant princess is due to give birth to her first child this autumn and appeared in a new video to mark Children’s Hospice Week.
Forget Me Not children’s hospice shared the clip on Instagram with the message: “Thank you to our royal patron, HRH Princess Beatrice, for this wonderful message of support as we approach the end of #ChildrensHospiceWeek.”
Speaking in the video, Princess Beatrice said: “As patron of Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice and as Children’s Hospice Week draws to a close, I just want to take this moment to thanks each and every single one of those families and carers giving that much-needed support to those with life-shortening conditions.
“Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice provides expert clinical and respite care and end-of-life care for those families coping with the round the clock challenges of caring for a child with complex and life-shortening conditions.
“Which is why it is incredibly important that we remember these organisations across the UK who do this incredible work.”

Beatrice added: “So Forget Me Not helps them make the most of every moment and to make sure that they can live the best life they can, whether long or short that may be.
“So Thank you so much for all the work that you do. And we are very lucky that we get to support you.”
Body language expert and author Judi James analysed the video and shared her insights with Express.co.uk.
Beatrice’s body language has adjusted slightly since she got married last summer and is now pregnant, Judi claimed.
She added: “Like her mother, it’s Beatrice’s huge eyes that add all the warmth, energy and empathy to this brief message.”
The princess has kept her girlish traits despite preparing to become a mother herself, the analyst explained.
Judi said: “Rounded with enthusiasm for her theme, Beatrice uses a rather slow and dramatic blink rate at one point to suggest not only an air of inner calmness but also the firmness and commitment she clearly has for this cause behind the contagious smile and girlish bounce.”
Beatrice and her husband Edoardo live in an apartment at St James’s Palace in London.
Buckingham Palace confirmed Beatrice’s pregnancy in May.
The statement read: “Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in autumn of this year.
“The Queen has been informed and both families are delighted with the news.”
Beatrice’s baby will be the Queen’s 12th great-grandchild.
