Prince Harry has the freedom to “come forward with his truth” unlike his brother, royal commentators have said. Prince William’s own feelings on issues the Duke of Sussex has talked about, like Prince Charles’ parenting and the divorce from Princess Diana, may appear more vague due to his position in the monarchy. Royally Obsessed podcast hosts Roberta Fiorito and Rachel Bowie explained how the Duke of Cambridge may be “affected” by this limitation.
Ms Fiorito told listeners: “A lot of the time when Harry is talking about Charles, I think of William.
“I think about what he might be holding in.
“Harry has come forward with his truth and been able to speak about it.
“We know that he’s been going to a therapist for four years, and been able to really open up about his personal struggles.”

She continued: “I hope that William has someone like that in Kate.
“We know that divorce affects everyone, the kids especially.
“With Charles and Diana, it was so public that there’s no way they don’t have trauma from that.
“I hope that he’s able to process it in some way.”
She told the podcast: “I’m sure that he is dealing with it in some way and he is affected by it in his own way.
“I feel like a lot of the coverage discounts how he is dealing with it, and that’s not fair.”
William did open up recently in regards to his mother when responding to the BBC inquiry into her interview with Martin Bashir.
He claimed that the 1995 tell-all made his “parents’ relationship worse”.
The Duke also accused the BBC’s “failures” of “contributing significantly to [Diana’s] fear, paranoia and isolation”.
