Prince Harry has weighed in on steps to take when someone you know is experiencing suicidal thoughts. During a bonus town hall episode of his and Oprah Winfrey’s Apple TV+ series, ‘The Me You Can’t See‘, the Duke of Sussex shared what he had learned. The revelation comes two months after his wife, Meghan Markle, admitted in the royals’ eye-opening interview with Oprah that she was having suicidal thoughts while six months pregnant with their son, Archie.
Meghan described how she felt to Oprah Winfrey.
She told the host: “I was really ashamed to say it at the time, and ashamed to have to admit it to Harry especially.
“Because I know how much loss he suffered.
“But I knew that if I didn’t say it that I would do it.”

Meghan also went on to state that she received little to no help from the monarchy.
She told CBS that after reaching out to Human Resources, she was informed there was “nothing [they could] do to protect [her]” as she was not a “paid employee of the institution”.
The royal said: “This wasn’t a choice. This was emails and begging for help, saying very specifically, ‘I am concerned for my mental welfare’.
“And people going, ‘Oh, yes, yes, it’s disproportionately terrible what we see out there to anyone else’.
“But nothing was ever done, so we had to find a solution.”
