The Prime Minister is bracing for the Labour leader to lash out at the Conservatives’ plan to introduce a health and social care levy. Yesterday Mr Johnson admitted he was breaking one of his 2019 election pledges with a plan to increase national insurance contributions to fix the social care crisis.

Sir Keir has already bashed the plan saying the tax unfairly hits the low paid.

Labour MPs will be whipped to vote against the proposals in a Commons vote taking place later this evening.

In PMQs the Opposition leader and numerous MPs will likely attack the Prime Minister for breaking his promise to the electorate at the last election.

Yesterday he said Mr Johnson could no longer claim the Tories are “the party of low taxation”.
