Balle was seen strolling barefoot in a ruffled peach colored dress with puffy sleeves.
Ahead of scenes the Grown-ish actress shielded herself from the sun with a green visor and a pair of oversized black sunglasses.
Beside her was Hauer-King who donned a lifelike Prince Eric garment that featured white pants and a white blouse with a navy vest overlayed.
The Little Women actor looked to clutch a script in hand as they made their way to the shore amongst a large group of production personnel — some of which donned wetsuits.

Kiss the girl? The boat scenes caused speculation they may have been gearing up to shoot the iconic ‘Kiss The Girl’ number which occurred during a romantic boat ride in the original animated classic
And based on the boat that awaited the film stars, it looked as if they were gearing up to shoot the ‘Kiss The Girl’ number from the 1989 animated film which took place during a romantic boat ride.
Other stars of the Rob Marshall film including Daveed Diggs (Sebastian), Javier Bardem (King Triton), Jacob Tremblay (Flounder), Melissa McCarthy (Ursula) and Awkwafina (Scuttle) were not present on set.
The Rob Marshall adaptation was one of a few Disney films that experienced production delays on account of the COVID-19 pandemic last March.
Before its hault, The Mary Poppins Returns director divulged a bit of information about the process of shooting the film and how it would approach underwater scenes in the live-action version.
‘We are doing some underwater work, especially (to) get the reality of that,’ he told DGA in an interview. ‘But the majority of it, we are doing what’s called “dry for wet.” On a blue-screen stage. We’re singing and moving and acting, and underwater for half the film. I will say it’s sort of this new frontier.’

Balle’s Ariel casting was announced in July 2019 and Hauer-King’s casting as Prince Eric was announced the following November, after it was reported that Dunkirk’s Harry Styles and Krypton’s Cameron Cuffe were also in contention.
Though many took Halle’s casting as a big win on the grounds of inclusion in Hollywood, others took issue with her portrayal of Ariel.
In August 2019 she told Variety in a red carpet interview: ‘I feel like I’m dreaming, and I’m just grateful. I don’t pay attention to the negativity. I just feel like this role is something bigger than me. It’s going to be beautiful.’
And she continued to maintain her stance on blocking out hatred while speaking to Teen Vogue last June.
‘We’ve always learned to just keep our heads up no matter the situation. No matter what anybody has to say about you…just keep pushing.’
