Nickelodeon star Drake Bell charged with 'attempted endangerment of a child'

Nickelodeon star Drake Bell, known for starring in teen sitcom Drake & Josh, has been arrested in Ohio and charged with crimes against children, multiple reports confirmed Friday.

According to police, Bell, 34, is facing one count of attempted endangerment of a child and one count of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles, TMZ reports.

However, it is not yet clear what has prompted the charges.

The alleged incident is said to have taken place on Dec 1 back in 2017, which is when the actor was scheduled to be performing at club in Cleveland.

Bell is said to have appeared in Cuyahoga County court on Thursday this week, and entered a not guilty plea, posting a $2,500 bond that ordered him to have no contact with the alleged victim.
