Sarah Quinn, 35, claims she has been “harrassed” by the firm after stopping in her friend’s parking space. Despite having permission from her friend to use the space, Ms Quinn claims Vehicle Control Services is demanding she pays £285 for breaking the rules.
Ms Quinn claims the parking firm has threatened to send bailiffs to her home after not paying the charge.
She has also been told by the firm that failing to pay the fee could negatively impact her credit rating.
However, she claims her friend’s tenancy agreement says the space is her land as long as she doesn’t obstruct anyone else.
Ms Quinn said the fine was a big strain on her mentally but she is still determined to fight her case.
