Model Lara Worthington has revealed her family's strict vegetarian diet

Lara Worthington (née Bingle) has revealed she and her entire family are on a strict vegetarian diet.  

Speaking to Sunday Life, the 33-year-old model credited her meat-free diet as the secret behind her incredible physique, before revealing her children had never eaten meat in their lives. 

‘I’ve been vegetarian for about six years now. Actually, the whole family is vegetarian,’ she said.

The star, who recently relocated from Los Angeles to Sydney, continued: ‘My children have never eaten meat… No, never had a sausage!’ 

Lara and Sam are parents to three sons: Rocket, five, Racer, four, and River, who is believed to have been born in March 2020.    

In March, Tte glamazon spoke to Russh magazine about her decision to become vegetarian, telling the magazine the diet completely changed her life.

‘After watching documentaries, learning from [film director] James Cameron and influenced by my husband, [my family] went vegetarian years ago,’ she said. 

James, who worked with Sam on Avatar, has been vegan for several years. 

Lara went on to explain: ‘It has made a huge difference to our lives. Inner health relates directly to outer health and I have always believed what we put inside is reflected on the outside’.

Lara and Sam, who began dating in 2013 and married secretly in 2014, arrived back in Australia with their children in January.   

Sam is currently starring in the Wesley Enoch-directed stage play Appropriate, while Lara has several modelling jobs lined up in Sydney. 

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph in May, Lara said: ‘At this stage of my life, with my sons as the total priority, I’m focused on wellbeing, motherhood and taking care of my family.’
