She was forced to cancel her baby shower last year after the country was plunged into lockdown.
Yet Millie Mackintosh, 32, was given another chance to have her special day as she threw a celebration over the weekend.
The reality star – who welcomed her first child in May 2020 and is currently pregnant with her second – shared a picture from the event on Monday and revealed she had the ‘perfect day’.

Millie, who looked sensational in a fitted white midi dress that showcased her blossoming bump, penned: ‘Showered with love.
‘Most people probably don’t have a baby shower when they have their second child but as I never got to have one with Sienna (due to Covid) I decided to go all out to celebrate the arrival of baby two!
‘It was the perfect day, surrounded by my nearest and dearest, eating lots of cake!’
She concluded: ‘I loved catching up with people who haven’t been in a room together for nearly two years!! It was the perfect day thank you @elari_events for the beautiful back drop, I don’t want to take it down!’

However rather than wallowing over the cancelled event, the mother-to-be threw a mini pink-themed shower with her husband Hugo Taylor.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Millie explained: ‘It was meant to be my baby shower today and I was sad to have to cancel it, I’ve postponed it until later in the summer.
‘But you know what the sun is shining and I’m going to have a really lovely day with Hugo, and I’m still going to really enjoy it.’

She later shared a sweet snap of herself and Hugo on her grid, and said: ‘Today would have been my baby shower and although I’m sad I can’t celebrate in person with all the amazing women in my life…
‘I am sending love from afar and feel very lucky to have such a loving husband here with me to make this day special in whatever way we can.
‘Sending hugs to everybody who planned weddings, birthdays, christenings and baby showers that you have had to cancel or postpone. We are all in this together and will come out the other side stronger than ever.’

Millie and Hugo welcomed their first child in May last year, a daughter named Sienna.
The couple recently learned that they are expecting a second daughter, which Hugo is said to be delighted about.
Speaking to Hello!, Millie said that her daughter 17-month-old is a real daddy’s girl.’
She added: ‘Sienna completely lights up around Hugo and when he’s at work she asks for him all day. Hugo isn’t hankering after a baby boy at all; he’s delighted to have two girls.’
She also admitted that discovering she was pregnant again was a ‘huge’ surprise. to the couple who married in 2018.
‘My first thought was: I already have a baby, she says. But having them so close together will have its advantages and you can’t plan these things.
She added ‘The first pregnancy it was all I thought and talked about. But I sometimes now forget I’m pregnant – and I never thought I’d ever be someone who said that.
Then I’ll catch sight of myself in the mirror and I’m like: ‘Oh, yeah! There’s a big bump!’
