Dungeons & Dragons is being made into a movie adaptation, to be released in 2023.

And on Saturday, actors Michelle Rodriguez and Chris Pine were spotted arriving to the set in County Antrim, Northern Ireland with very different forms of transport.

Michelle, 42, jetted around on an electric scooter and donned a futuristic face mask, while Chris, 40, was escorted out of a black chauffeur-driven car.

Michelle, who is best known for her work in the Fast and the Furious franchise, covered up part of her medieval-style costume in a yellow and floral kimono.

She also donned a black backpack, and her dark locks were styled out and in plaits.

It was in stark contrast to Chris who emerged from a chauffeur-driven car in a casual blue shirt and a period-style black jacket.

The Unstoppable star held onto a large umbrella, gifted by a member of the crew, and wore a white face mask.

Chris also appeared ready to work, drawing attention to perfectly styled hair.

Also pictured arriving on set was Sophia Lillis, 19, who bundled up in a blue velour robe and covered her face with a disposable mask and a plastic face shield.

The American actress, who is best known for her role as Beverly Marsh in the horror films It and It: Chapter Two, appeared in great spirits, smiling behind her mask.

It was reported by Variety in March that Hugh Grant had been cast as the villain and the main protagonist in the film.

Also starring in the production are Justice Smith and Bridgerton star Regé-Jean Page.

The film will be directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, and produced and financed by Hasbro/eOne and Paramount.

Dungeons & Dragons is a fantasy tabletop role-playing game originally designed by Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson.

It was first published in 1974 by Tactical Studies Rules, Inc. and has been published by Wizards of the Coast since 1997.

This version of Dungeons & Dragons has been in the works for many years with actor Ansel Elgort and director Rob Letterman once attached.

After a legal battle between Sweetpea Entertainment and Hasbro about ownership rights, the film was moved to Paramount, according to Variety.

Chris McKay was brought in as a director before he left the project, and in 2019, Goldstein and Daley came in.

Plot details behind this latest take on the game are being kept under wraps.

Dungeons & Dragons was first adapted in 2000. That version starred Thora Birch, Kristen Wilson, Justin Whalin, Marlon Wayans and Jeremy Irons.

The project, which was made by New Line, did not do well at the box office.
