A mini-heatwave enjoyed by many Brits is expected to come to an abrupt end, as heavy storms spread across parts of the UK.
The Met Office has issued two yellow thunderstorm warnings for Wednesday September 8 and Thursday September 9.
The forecaster says heavy rain and thunderstorms could see 2 inches of rain falling in 3 hours later today.
The Met Office warns the storms could cause flooding and disruption to travel.
