When a planet goes retrograde, it appears to move backwards in the sky. Each planet has a list of themes it controls or represents and during Retrogrades, the themes are magnified. Mercury is the planet of communication, travel, technology and exchange of information and these things go out of the window with Mercury in Retrograde. Sounds awful, right? Well, this might just be the worst Mercury Retrograde you’ve ever had.

Mercury is already in shadow and he turns Retrograde on May 29 for three weeks.
Astrologer Francesca Oddie (@francescaoddieastrology) described the next three weeks as an “absolute Mercurial mess,” and there’s a big reason for it.
Your Mercury Retrograde experience will differ depending on your own star sign and natal chart, as well as which sign Mercury is moving through… but this one is going to be bad for everyone.
She said: “This is going to be the heaviest Mercury Retrograde there has been for a long time.
“Some Mercury Retrogrades are pretty chill and they just sort of play out and happen…. But this is going to be absolute carnage.”

Francesca pointed out that Mercury will be totally Eclipsed during the Solar Eclipse.
He will also make a square with Neptune on June 4 and 6, as he has already done earlier this week.
She explained: “With all of these things going on in Gemini, it looks like absolute carnage.”
Gemini is known for its duality, represented by the two faces or the twins, and we can expect that in life for the next three weeks.
Francesca said: “We can expect there to be incredible instability out there – primarily perhaps within markets, currencies, bitcoin, the dollar and so on…
“Don’t forget to keep an eye out for lots of new and important information.
“There may be news on the ability for testing at airports, changes in rules and there will be backtracking with regards to regulations.”
