Stewart Pearce worked as Diana’s voice coach and became a close associate in her final years. He has just written a book about the People’s Princess, called ‘Diana, The Voice Of Change.’ In an interview with Us Weekly, Mr Pearce claims that Diana would have been in “complete favour” of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s decision to relocate to California.
“She was talking about buying a property in Malibu [saying] that would be ‘really great’ for the boys to have freedom so that they could surf,” he explained.
“Because they’re both very sporty, you know, but they could surf, they could roller blade, they could Frisbee.
“So, she’d be in complete favour.”
The former voice coach described Diana as someone who “loved humour, who loved the levity of life, who loved expanding through life.”
He argued that Meghan and Harry were continuing her legacy, which was to “bring liberation to the disenfranchised and the disassociated.”
Mr Pearce has previously hailed Meghan for embodying many of Princess Diana’s virtues and for following in her footsteps as a “female empowerment pioneer”.
He praised her for finding the “courage” to reject the Royal mantra of “never complain, never explain” and to speak the truth, in much the same way as Diana did.

In the course of the Panorama programme, she revealed that Prince Charles had an affair with Camilla, memorably telling Mr Bashir that “there were three of us in the marriage, so it was a bit crowded.”
The voice coach suggested that Diana was “decades ahead of her time”.
“She changed the world with hope, empowerment, kindness, and authenticity,” he said.
