    She finalized her divorce from Olivier Sarkozy in late January, nine months after their five year marriage came to an end.

    And on Sunday, Mary-Kate Olsen beamed as she took in a New York Knicks game with a pal in the Big Apple at Madison Square Garden.

    The 34-year-old fashion designer and actress enjoyed a beer as she watched game one of the NBA playoffs between the Knicks and the Atlanta Hawks.

    The star looked happy and relaxed as she watched on an upper level of the VIP courtside seating section.

    Mary-Kate wore a warm brown and black shawl style jacket over a black blouse and trousers, wearing seventies inspired sunglasses and a chunky silver necklace.

    The star wore her locks loose around her while opting to keep her makeup to a minimum.

    The basketball game outing comes just four months after her divorce from husband Olivier Sarkozy, nine months after their five-year marriage ended.

    The former couple’s settlement was signed off by a judge at the New York Supreme Court on Monday, January 25, according to Us Weekly.

    The French banker, 51, is the half brother of Nicolas Sarkozy, the former President of France.

    Mary-Kate and Olivier, who has two children from a previous marriage, agreed to a divorce settlement during a virtual hearing on January 13. 

    Nancy Chemtob, who represents Mary-Kate, said that ‘all issues are resolved’ but no details were given to the court.

    Michael Mosberg, the attorney for Olivier, told the New York Supreme Court at that earlier hearing that ‘the deal is now done.’

    Mary-Kate reportedly has an ‘ironclad prenup’ for her estimated $250 million fortune; she runs The Row fashion house a second line called Elizabeth and James with twin sister Ashley.  

    The divorce was officially finalized on Monday, January 25 by the New York Supreme Court. 

    The former couple married on November 27, 2015 and she filed for divorce on April 17, 2020. 

    Also at the game was Law & Order star Mariska Hargitay with her son August, 14.

    The star, donned a leopard print maxi dress with sneakers for the game as they sat courtside.

    Next to her sat actor Ben Stiller, 55, with his son Quinlin, 15.

    Also in attendance was talk show host Jon Stewart with his son Nathan, 16.  

    Spike Lee and Tracy Morgan were also seen courtside, as well as The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel star Rachel Brosnahan.

    The Knicks ended up losing 105 to 107 against the Atlanta Hawks, despite the star studded crowd.

    It was Playoffs Round 1 game one, with now the Hawks leading the series 1-0; the next game between the two teams is Wed, May 26.
