Married At First Sight's Michael Goonan unveils his dramatic gym transformation

He’s getting ready to reunite with ex KC Osbourne on the new season of Ex on the Beach.

And Married At First Sight’s Michael Goonan appears to be getting in shape for the encounter, having unveiled his remarkable body transformation on Saturday.

‘Before’  pics posted to the reality TV star’s Instagram account showed him with love handles and a distinctive paunch.

However, the ‘after’ image shows the Adelaide businessman rocking six pack abs and toned arms.

Goonan captioned the images, ‘The background is the same the man is not’. 

‘What a journey of self discipline, sacrifice and adjustment,’ he continued, before plugging his personal trainer.

He concluded the post, ‘If I can do this, believe me hahaha….. ANYONE CAN- If you want LIFE to change?? Then you have to apply change to your LIFE’.    

A friend of Michael’s recently told Daily Mail Australia he was training up to four hours per day ahead of his return to reality television. 

‘Michael is in the best shape he’s been in his whole life. They’ve got big plans for him to go in there and flirt up a storm. He is planning to go wild,’ they said.

Goonan’s new body debut comes amid news he’s about to fly to Colombia to star in Ex on the Beach with former flame Osbourne.   

The former MAFS bride is allegedly doing some prep work of her own for the show: by preemptively splitting with beau Jason Engler, 36. 

‘KC is supposed to fly out to Colombia next month to start filming, and she was told she needed to make it clear she was single,’ a source told Daily Mail Australia.

The insider added: ‘KC and Jason weren’t just a one-time hook-up. They were obsessed with each other.

KC announced her split from Jason earlier this month during a Q&A on Instagram.

When a fan asked what happened between the pair, she wrote: ‘We just don’t align with each other. That’s that. I’m good. I’m happy.’ 

Ex on the Beach bosses also asked KC’s MAFS groom Drew Brauer to appear on the show, but he declined because he is dating singer Samantha Clark.

Remember them? Michael starred on season six of MAFS and was paired with Stacey Hampton 

Love Island alumni Jack Fincham and Georgia Steel are also set to star on the MTV series, which will air in Australia on the Paramount+ streaming platform. 

KC rose to fame on MAFS in 2020 where she was paired with musician Drew. The couple split after their final vows when they realised they were better off friends.

She went on to date Adelaide businessman Michael, but they confirmed their amicable break-up a few months later.
