MAFS: Nasser Sultan gets wiped out by a wave surfing at Bondi Beach

He’s the Married At First Sight star who works as a fitness instructor for the over-50s. 

And Nasser Sultan managed to squeeze in a workout of his own on Saturday as he went surfing at Sydney’s Bondi Beach.

The former music promoter, 54, was seen chatting to locals before diving into the ocean to try to catch some waves.

Nasser didn’t have much luck, however, and emerged from the water just minutes later carrying his surfboard. 

He soon became distracted while looking around to see if anyone was watching him and flopped onto the beach.

Wary of police enforcing Covid rules, the controversial reality star made sure to keep active by heading back into the ocean for some more exercise.

Ouch! Nasser then lost control of his board and fell into the ocean

He swam further out and, much to his surprise, was able to pick up a wave.

Nasser leapt to his board and he tried to balance himself, but was soon blindsided by another wave and fell head first into the water.

The socialite soon returned to the beach looking exhausted.

The outing comes after Nasser opened up about his infamous trolling of his Married At First Sight co-stars.

Nasser said in February he’d been ‘playing the character’ of a ‘deluded reality star’ for three years, ever since his MAFS debut in 2018.

However, in his defence he admitted it had been difficult to return to real life after becoming obsessed with fame.

‘It’s not easy, it’s not like switching a light off. I am obsessed with it – why am I caring about these people?’ he told the Not Another Reality TV Podcast.

His remarks came after he return to Nine’s social experiment for the two-part Grand Reunion special.

He angered his castmates by refusing to apologise for trolling them on social media.
