M6 traffic chaos as car bursts into flames in middle of motorway – delays and lanes closed

Two lanes have been shut between J31 and J31A with fire crews on their way to the scene. Congestion is now building on the M6 northbound. Highways England reported that two lanes have been shut and Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service and traffic officers are attending to the scene.
