The collision, involving a van and a car, took place near J2, A20 London Road, near the Wrotham Brands Hatch Circuit.
Traffic cameras from this morning show the coastbound carriageway empty of cars as emergency services dealt with the incident.
People on the live traffic app Waze have said cars are currently moving at about 10mph.
