Fans of Love Island have also been treated to an advanced tour of of the new and improved Mallorca villa by host Laura Whitmore just before the islanders moved in.
The villa has finally found some new residents as this year’s crop of contestants coupled up for the first time ahead of Monday’s series seven launch.
The ITV2 reality series has returned to screens for the first time since January 2020 after last year’s planned summer series was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

In new snaps from the first episode, the ladies can be seen lining up in the garden to meet the boys after being met by Laura.
This year’s contestants include OnlyFans star Shannon Singh, fashion blogger Kaz Kamwi, events planner Aaron Francis and PE teacher Hugo Hammond.
Alongside the hopefuls is civil servant Sharon Gaffka, Nando’s waitress Liberty Poole, financial services marketing executive Chloe Burrows, semi-pro footballer Toby Aromolaran, water engineer Jake Cornish, labourer Brad McClelland and lettings manager Faye Winter.
This year’s batch of islanders will be leaving in luxury once again as the villa has been given a new look ahead of Monday’s launch.

Explaining a previous claim about her sex drive in an unearthed podcast she recorded earlier this year in which she bragged about having sex ‘eight times a day’, Shannon said: ‘It was that I could have sex up to eight times a day.’
She continued: ‘When I am in love with someone, I do have a lot of sex and that’s normal and healthy in a relationship.
‘That podcast was all about Asian women being empowered and speaking out about things that typical Asian women don’t speak about.
‘I want to empower women and if I can stop the stereotype of Asian women and not owning who you are and being afraid to show your body and all this stuff, if I can be an advocate for that then of course I will be.’

However, he hasn’t entirely ruled out the possibility of jetting abroad as he confirmed production haven’t made a final decision due to uncertainty surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic.
Appearing on Loose Women on Friday via video link, panellist Kaye Adams asked if he will be going to Mallorca for his narrator duties.
Iain responded: ‘We are in London, I think, now, this is the thing with coronavirus, I never want to say anything because you never know, who knows what’s going to happen.
‘I don’t know what colour Mallorca is going to be next week, it will be tartan by the time I’m done with it!’

Whilst Laura had already landed in Majorca with her baby daughter ahead of the new series, Iain said he is happy to get to work in the UK.
He added: ‘I am very excited, I have not been in a sound booth for quite some time.
‘This is like my gaming room but it’s not quite the sound booth, I am looking forward to being locked away all summer.’
